WHAT IS ECOCLEAR?
EcoClear is a Non-Selective Herbicide that is made from a proprietary mixture of Acetic Acid and Citric Acid (components of Vinegar and Lemon Juice). EcoClear is an environmentally friendly product and has no lasting impact on the surrounding areas. It breaks down immediately upon application and provides an excellent alternative to chemical products.
IS ECOCLEAR A REGISTERED PRODUCT?
Yes, EcoClear is registered with the Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA), registration #25528. The active ingredient in EcoClear (Acetic Acid) may be exempt from governmental pesticide restrictions (check your local by-law to be sure).
HOW MUCH ECOCLEAR DO I SPRAY ON AN AREA?
EcoClear is NOT systemic and therefore Coverage Is Critical! Only plant surfaces that come into contact with the product will be killed. To achieve knockdown it is recommended that you spray the weed to the point of run-off. This is especially important the first time you spray a new area. Being thorough during the initial application will reduce your chances of re-treatment being required.
WHEN DO I SPRAY ECOCLEAR?
The best results are achieved when EcoClear is sprayed early in the season on young and growing weeds. More care should be taken during the first application of the season to reduce the chances of re-treatment being required. It is very important that weeds are covered to the point of run-off and that all surfaces of a weed are treated.
Days that are warm and dry, with moderate temperature usually provide the best conditions for application.
WHERE DO I APPLY ECOCLEAR?
EcoClear is a non-selective herbicide and will kill all foliage it contacts. EcoClear is best used on areas such as: walkways, shrub-beds, tree-rings, sidewalks, driveways, patios, railroad rights-of-way, power stations, industrial sites, around farm buildings, storage areas, tank farms, greenhouses, plant nurseries, golf courses, in fencerows and vacant lots.
DOES ECOCLEAR WORK ON BROADLEAF AND GRASSY WEEDS?
EcoClear is non-selective, it works on both Broadleaf and Grassy Weeds. It is important to take care when spraying Grassy Weeds because the compact surface area is more resilient than that of Broadleaf weeds and is also easier to miss during spraying.
DOES ECOCLEAR WORK ON PERENNIAL AND ANNUAL WEEDS?
Yes, EcoClear will work on both Perennial and Annual weeds. However, EcoClear will not kill the root structure of Perennial weeds initially. Therefore, Perennial weeds may need additional applications before a complete kill is achieved.
HOW MUCH DO I DILUTE THE ECOCLEAR CONCENTRATE?
small weeds, low density, early season use 1 part EcoClear to 5 parts Water

DO I NEED A LICENSE TO USE ECOCLEAR?
As a commercial grade concentrate, in most locations a professional license is required. Please contact your local pesticide authority for additional information.
HOW DO I STORE ECOCLEAR AND HOW LONG CAN I STORE IT?
EcoClear can be stored in any temperature and should not deteriorate with age. However, storing in extreme conditions or using product that has been stored for an extended period of time is NOT recommended.
